Joey oversees every aspect of the community, which includes the care, quality of service, amenities, and programming for each and every resident. Joey has an Executive Masters of Business Administration. She has 20 years of combined experience in Administration of Senior Healthcare, Education, and Business Development. Joey is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and an Assisted Living Manager. Her training and expertise gives Joey the ability to help families navigate the long-term care continuum and ensure their loved one is well cared for quality and commitment.
Dr. K grew up in Chennai (a port city in the south-east coast of India). She followed her childhood dream to become a physician and studied at Stanley medical college in India. She then moved to United States with her husband to pursue further training. After volunteering at the Robert Packer Hospital in Pennsylvania, she finished her Internal Medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also wound care certified.
Dr. K has served as a hospitalist, a Medical Director in a skilled nursing facility and also as a Hospice Medical Director. Her practice includes a heavy focus on geriatric medicine and wellness and she enjoys the personal connections built as she helps people navigate the aging process.
John is a native Phoenician graduated from Arizona State University in 1954. After 2 years in the United States Air Force as an Officer, he joined Connecticut General Insurance (now Cigna). He spent his entire career with Cigna, a major national insurance company, and was Manager of the Phoenix office for the last 15 years. He retired and became a Consultant with Cigna in 1985 until 2005.
John has been active in business and community affairs and has served on many boards including the Phoenix Planning and Zoning Commission, the Phoenix Airport Authority, the Arizona State Property Tax Oversight Committee and the Phoenix 2000 General Planning Committee. He was most recently President of the Heard Museum. John currently resides in Phoenix, and continues to be active in the community.
As Managing Partner, Ryan oversees all firm operations and is responsible for all facets of project development including project feasibility, site selection, entitlements and construction. Prior to joining Pathways Investments, Ryan spent 8 years at Vestar where he oversaw both the development and acquisition of open-air regional shopping centers in Arizona and Colorado. Ryan also previously handled portfolio leasing and acquisitions for First Washington Realty, Inc. in Washington D.C. A native Phoenician, Ryan holds a BA with Honors from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Ryan is active in the community and currently serves on the boards of both the Heard Museum and the HBS Alumni Club of Arizona.
Christina is the Chief Financial Officer for Pathways Investments. She handles the treasury and financial reporting requirements for all entities, including planning and operations, cash and liquidity management, funding and capital markets, financial risk management, shareholder relations and corporate governance. Prior to working at Pathways Investments, Christina was the Regional Controller for Continental Homes Inc., the ninth largest single family homebuilder in the United States at the time, and the Company’s mortgage–banking subsidiary, CH Mortgage Company. Prior to moving to Phoenix, she also was a financial analyst for the McDonald’s Corporation and an Internal Auditor for the Taco Bell Corporation. Christina was a certified public accountant with the national accounting firm Grant Thornton in Chicago, IL, and graduated from Indiana University with a BS degree in accounting. Christina is very active in several local charities and community events.
