Medical Staff & Services at Pathways

Pathways Medical Staff and Services

At Pathways, our first priority is to make sure each resident receives the personalized care he or she deserves. Our dedicated team of certified caregivers are led by:

  • Our Medical Director –a board certified doctor of internal medicine with extensive experience in assisted living, skilled nursing and hospice settings. She is able to serve as the primary care physician for most of our residents so they rarely have to leave the neighborhood for medical appointments. She is available to our staff 24/7 and will never have anyone cover for her who is not familiar with our residents.
  • Our Lead Med-Tech/Staff Development Coordinator – a full-time Med-Tech who monitors the cognitive and physical condition of each of our residents, provides ongoing training for caregivers and coordinates with our residents, families, employees, Medical Director, and outside providers on the personal service plans for each resident.
  • Our Dedicated Home Med-Techs – full time Med–Techs who are dedicated to specific homes to engage and monitor the cognitive and physical condition of each resident. They work with families and providers to ensure the proper approach and service plan are meeting the resident’s needs.
  • Certified Caregivers – AZ State Board approved full and part–time caregivers that are designated to perform supervisory, personal, and directive care with emphasis on daily care needs, personal hygiene, household tasks, activities engagement with–in our Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Challenging Dementia settings.

Our strong clinical team highlights the importance we place on providing residents with premier medical care focused on specific individual needs.

In addition to our full time staff, we coordinate with other healthcare providers to bring many essential services onsite to avoid the stress and inconvenience that comes with frequent trips to the doctor. Services include:
